September 26, 2013 :

This patient has previously had a fracture of the hip in which the surgeon was operated elsewhere and a dynamic hip screw implant was used. However, this implant failed on the patient causing infection and a result a non union fracture with broken pins. A Uncemented Total Hip Replacement via transtrochanteric approach procedure was done. The patient has recovered well.
